Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit muratcanaykan.com or use its contact form, in line with Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

What data is processed?

• Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, plus the IP address the form was sent from (to prevent abuse).
• Visit statistics: pages viewed, referring site, country and device type. Your IP address is not stored; an anonymous, non-reversible digest that changes every day is used to tell repeat visits on the same day apart.
• Preferences: your theme choice (light/dark) is stored only in your own browser.

No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Why, and on what legal basis?

To reply to your enquiry, handle project discussions and quotes, protect the site from spam and abuse, and understand overall usage — based on taking steps prior to entering into a contract and on legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2 (c) and (f)).

Sharing

Your data is never sold or shared for marketing. The site is served through hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare) providers whose servers may be located abroad.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Visit statistics are kept only as daily totals.

Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you can ask whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn its purpose and recipients, ask for corrections or deletion, object to processing and claim compensation for damages. Send your requests to [email protected].
